Welcome to Hillsboro!
Hillsboro is a progressive Kansas community located at the thresholds of the Marion Reservoir and the beautiful Flint Hills. Hillsboro residents enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere, schools that are among the best in the state, and a thriving business community. Hillsboro features plenty of opportunities for work, play and a great quality of life. State Highways 56 and 15 intersect Hillsboro to provide less than an hour’s drive to Wichita to the south, Salina to the north, Hutchinson to the west and Emporia to the east, giving residents and visitors a quiet small-town atmosphere with access to all the amenities of larger cities.

Ribbon Cuttings
The chamber staff schedules ribbon-cutting ceremonies to commemorate new chamber members and/or existing chamber members who open a new business location. A photo taken during the ceremony will then be published in the local newspapers.

Business Referrals
The Chamber receives thousands of inquiries every year from people looking for trusted local businesses, products, and services. Our staff uses the Chamber Resource Directory to connect them with members first—making your Chamber membership a smart investment that keeps your business top of mind.

Encourage Shopping Local
Over 120 members currently participate in the Chamber’s gift certificate program, Chamber Bucks. This classic program encourages local money to stay local, benefiting Chamber members who participate. Over $25,000 in gift certificates are purchased annually by individuals and businesses and can be redeemed at any member’s business just like a check.
Chamber Gala
This annual winter banquet brings together business and community leaders to socialize and celebrate the positive achievements of the past year. More than 200 attendees typically enjoy a formal dinner, a brief program, and a silent auction as part of this signature Chamber event.
